In addition to those texts listed above, I will also distribute additional texts via PDF or URL, and offer occasional listenings and screenings. These will sometimes be scheduled outside the regular hours of our weekly meetings. When this is the case, I will be respectful of your other academic and co-curricular commitments, but I also ask that you consider these activities as part of your class commitment and that you make reasonable efforts to attend. You should be prepared to have access to handouts and notes and materials from listening and screening activities during our next scheduled class session. Finally, may of our texts will actually be recordings—again, shared via URL. While we may listen to excerpts in class, you will be expected to have listened to and prepared thoughtful commentary upon those listening activities on your own and prior to the class session. Rather than an obstacle to our discussion, we will treat these temporal limitations as part of our inquiries.
