In this class, we will experiment with writing in a variety of modalities (which is why we refer to these as “writing projects” rather than “essays”). At least one of your writing projects will be a paper-based essay; at least one will be a “born-digital” project. The other two will include aspects of either. All will be peer-reviewed, all may be workshopped at the Writing Center, and all may entertain a “Revise-and-Resubmit” option. Archived here at the class domain, writers should be conscientious from the very first of a broader reading public, and how this might affect their approach to and presentation of their material.
